Your Role as Digital Marketing Web Developer!

Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing and joining a team of digital experts managing our web, email and paid channels, we are looking for a growth-oriented web technologist to support our inbound strategy and execution across UX/UI, SEO, and CRO. The ideal candidate has a strong mix of full-stack web development for corporate web properties as well as performance marketing principles to drive organic lead generation for our global enterprise SaaS solutions and services.

You will support both back-end and front-end development, including overseeing our Wordpress CMS component architecture, managing web analytics/tracking while helping execute SEO and CRO implementations. You will also help build, test and deploy new page builds as we evolve our Information Architecture to support product launches and our growth as an enterprise SaaS provider.

Our head office is based in Ottawa, Canada.  This role is open to candidates working from a virtual home office anywhere in North America!

Some highlights include:

  • Create and optimize web and landing pages for speed, performance, accessibility, mobile friendliness, and health score
  • Lead Iterative updates to website functionality including Search, Navigation/Mega-menus, dynamic components as well as interactive content/widgets
  • Support technical and on-page SEO needs through audits, markup updates and meta-tag updates to achieve page ranking goals
  • Leverage analytics/CRO tools to understand how visitors behave on our site, identify frictions and improve the UX and conversion performance
  • Work with Marketing Operations to ensure data sync, lead management and robust form architecture while supporting reporting needs
  • Create & edit custom plugins, custom themes and child themes in the CMS (WordPress)

We are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience in front-end development/design using the following technologies and frameworks:

  • HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Sass
  • PHP, Javascript
  • Responsive/mobile web design (Bootstrap, etc)
  • Some server-side logic and database interaction
  • Cross-browser development
  • CMS (e.g. Wordpress, Drupal, etc.)
  • Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot)
  • CRM (e.g.
